I'm trying to configure Keepass 2 for my friend. So here's how I make it: I have a Linux server where is stored my database.kdbx and two users. The first user (let's call him "Bob") is the admin, he's the only one who can modify the database and the second user (let's say "Alice"). When I want to connect to the database (no matter who the user is) I click on 'File > Open > Open URL...' then, in the 'URL' field, I write 'sftp://my.ip/mydatabase.kdbx' (yes I installed the right plug-in for SFTP), I write my login/password of linux users and it's work. But! Here's the problem: I want Bob to be able to modify the database and Alice to read it, and only read it, so I set the permisions '-rw-r--r--. 1 bob main 2734 2 janv. 11:15 mydatabase.kdbx' on linux (CentOS). But when I open the file with Alice user, I can write in the database and, when I save it, Keepass change the file owner to Alice! So Bob is no longer the file owner... How can I set up this "read-only" without letting Keepass modify the database owner?
