From time to time pressing the Auto-type key combination locks keyboard and mouse (no reaction whatever key is pressed not even caps-lock or num-lock).
Mouse pointer remains stuck where it was, no reaction to click or roll.
It happened 1 time on my desktop and 4 times on my laptop. Both with WinXP,
desktop has SP3 and .NTE 3.5, focus was stealed by ZoneAlarm asking for permission for KeePass behafiour. Workaround: edited ZA Settings for KeePass.
Laptop has SP2 and .NET 3.0. Here it always happened entering the pwd into the PGP window of Outlook (from the third party SECUDE). After entering the pwd Outlook always hangs for 1 to 2 seconds, indipendently from input method, this may badly interact with KeePass. With KeePass 1.x it worked fine. Workaround: I deleted the {ENTER} command from the AutoType string.
In all cases I had to force a restart -> pressing off button! :-(

I have had the lock up problem with ZoneAlarm interrupting the Auto-Type. I found Ctrl Alt Del was enough to resume.
