Is it possible to set up KeePass on one computer so that two different users can be accommodated.
.
Presently my spouse has her side of the computer with her website accounts and I have mine. I have KeePass set up on my side of the PC only.
The KeePass Icon does not show up on her side.
I'm very new to KeePass and I don't want to mess up a great password management system!.
Suggestions and setup directions are welcome?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Create a separate password database for your spouse with a different Master Key e.g. master password. You should always keep your databases in your Documents folders (which are Windows user account specific), NOT the KeePass application directory.
If you use separate Windows User Accounts things will tend to automatically take care of itself. The installed version of KeePass will maintain separate KeePass configuration settings for each user account. If you are using the portable version with different Windows User Accounts then you need to edit the keepass.config.xml file with a text editor and change PreferUserConfiguration to true i.e.
If you are sharing the same Windows User Account then some additional customization may increase convenience either by using shortcuts with command line arguments, modifying some startup settings, or modifying the UI using triggers.

Thanks for the timely response!
Most Appreciative!
You can add the KeePass icon manually by copying your shortcut to her Desktop via the Public Documents folder (C:\Users\Public\Documents).
Make sure you have a backup of both databases - see the Backup page.
