I have been using the Keepass for a couple of years now and find it every useful for creating password lists for network devices.
I decided that the time was right to move to a new version as I am currently on V2.20.1 but have encountered an issue during the installation process and would like some advice.
I believe from what I read that I can upgrade to V2.26 without the loss of the data and settings already present.
When I run the V2.26 set-up.exe I select English as the language and then immediately afterwards a dialogue box pops up and advises that "Set-up has detected that Keepass Password Safe is currently running. Please close all instances of it now, click OK to continue or cancel to exit."
I have checked and there are no applications or processes running related to Keepass and so I'm confused as to why it thinks as such. Tried logging off the remote desktop I use and starting from scratch but the same error is displayed.
Any ideas?

It may be that install is not supported on a TS session - this is often the case in Windows - or that someone else has KeePass running on the server.
You can download the portable version and unzip the contents over the top of the existing KeePass files.
cheers, Paul
