    DomDom - 2014-11-11

    Hi,

I have another strange thing happening with file sync (I discover it by doing something else)

    here is the scenario:

    • Create a brand new DB "A", password "test", save the DB
    • Create a brand new DB "B", password "test", save the DB
    • Close DB "B".
    • Exec a file Sync (DB "A" still open) with DB "B"
    • Get an error msg "Import failed. Object reference not set to an instance of an object." (see att).

    Thanks,

    Dominique

Using Keepass 2.28 with no plug-ins

    I can't reproduce this, although I do have a couple of plug-ins. Windows 8.1, KP 2.28.
    Can you reproduce it?

    cheers, Paul

I also am running Windows 8 and am unable to reproduce this behavior. If no one helps you before then, I will try it on a Windows 7 machine at work on Monday .

    Paul, Yoosh,

Thanks to have tried to reproduce it, I know I did it twice to be sure but after reading your comments... so I tried on another win 7Pro 64 machine and I could not reproduce it...

So I will try again on my other machine on Monday.

Is there any flag I can set to get some dbg information logged in case of an error?

Any way, thanks and stay tuned

    Dominique

    Good Morning,

I tried on my other machine (win 7Pro 64) and it failed as reported.

EXCEPT that the version of KeePass is 2.27 on this machine (and not 2.28 as I though, forgot to update to the last version). So I guess Dominik fixed this on the 2.28 version (Thanks).

    Case closed.

Thanks for your time to try to sort this out.

    Dominique

    Under bug fixes for 2.28.
