When I enabled OneDrive to backup Desktop and Documents, it moved these folders to a OneDrive folder that is under my user name. See the first Screen Shoot 074017. The selection window of KeePass shows a MyDocuments folder that does not exist. See screenshot 121057. When I run KeePass it saves the OneDrive folder and a Desktop and Documents folder, thus doubling these folders on my backup drive. See screen shot 085017. Any Isights?
KeePass doesn't know that you changed the location of the password database file.
To correct the situation, open KeePass but cancel the Open database/Enter Master Key dialog. KeePass will open without a password database. Select File>Open>Open File... from the KeePass menu and navigate to the current location of your database. Select the password database. KeePass will display the Open database/Enter Master Key dialog. Supply the correct database master key. The password database will open. If your database master key includes a key file, you must also need to update the key file location on the Enter Master Key dialog. Thereafter, KeePass should remember the new location of your password database.
If you are sharing your password database across multiple devices using OneDrive, the preferred configuration is to use a working local copy of the password database outside of OneDrive. Synchronize the working database with password database copy stored on OneDrive using File>Synchronize>Synchronize with File.... Synchronization can be automated with triggers. See the KeePass Synchronization documentation for details.
