Is anyone else having problems with TCATO? Sometimes the copy and paste process fails, resulting in incorrect passwords. For the most part, the username is entered in correctly, but it is the pasting of the password that fails, which messes up the entire TCATO process.
So I played around with this and used TCATO autotype into a Notepad window and got a couple different kinds of errors:
Here are some of errors the errors I was seeing, mixed in with successful entries. I was basically just autotyping via Ctrl-Alt-A over and over into notepad using two different keys:
1) Username: Testing; PW: 12345678901234567890
2) Username: TestingAgain; PW: 1234567890
Strangely enough, the errors happen more commonly and reliably with my real KeePass keys, like for Gmail or online services, rather than "Testing" keys. Obviously, I'm not going to paste those errors for everyone to see, you'll just have to take my word for it. My theory is maybe my real keys failed more often because those they were more fleshed out, with urls, additional windows, etc. Maybe?
At time, I was even getting a whole paragraphs from an email written hours ago, miss-pasted into notepad as the password, and then keepass would go back into it filling in letters according to the obfuscation process.
I don't have any third party clipboard management programs installed. I did at one point, but it's been uninstalled for a while now using Revo Uninstaller. I believe I'm using version 2.07beta.
Thanks guys

I upgraded to 2.08 and the problems are still occurring. Interestingly, TCATO works fine with the first entry (Username: Testing) in the dialog box that pops up (since I have two keys autotyped for "Untitled - Notepad"), but screws up a bunch when I select the second entry (Username: TestingAgain). I copied "Old text copied to the clipboard" to the clipboard, and then tried Autotype a couple of times.
Also, the type of TCATO Autotype mistake I'm getting is all the same now. Either it's pasting old clipboard contents, or it's screwing up when it tries to copy the chopped up password. See below:

So I played around with it some more. Restarting the computer eliminates the problem when the clipboard is fresh and clean. Copy anything to the clipboard, and the problem starts back up.
