Is there any way, or you guys considering for the next release, an option to customize the "Expire Time" on KP entries, and not just the default ones already with the program?

The developer does not usually publish his list of priorities or a release schedule. You may want to look through the feature requests to see if your proposed feature has been requested already (duplicate requests get closed).

You can set the expire time to pretty much anything. What did you have in mind?

It would be nice to modify or add the standard expire times. Such as a '2 months' option in the drop-down since I have several applications/websites that expire in 60 days.

An option with a box for a number and a selector for Days/Weeks/Months/Years would make it easy.

Glad that I am not the only person that would like to have the option for "2 Months" on the drop down box as well. Hope that this could be a small fix, can this be taken into account?

    Thanks
    Marc

You might want to try my plugin PEDCalc - Password Expiration Date calculator: https://sourceforge.net/projects/kppedcalc/

You can define 5 days, 3 weeks, 2 months, ... as 'lifetime' and whenever you change an entry's password the expiry date is recalculated automatically.
Use the context menu to set the lifetime on group or entry level.
It will be inherited to inferior groups and entries if not configured differently.

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply! I tried the plugin, but that is a bit too much automization for my taste, especially as for my passwords it is never exactly clear how long they are valid. Just having the option to select the option "2 Month" in the original screen would be the best solution.

I would like to add a custom interval (in offset from current time) to the "Standard expiry times" dropdown. Something like "90 days". Note that I'd probably make it 85 or 88 days to give myself some "elbow room". It's a bit of a pain to get my password reset for the domain that has the 90 day password intervals. Extra points if KeePass could flash warnings, send up distress flairs and play the 1812 Overture when those passwords were about to expire.

KeePass will show entries about to expire on startup.
Tools > Options > Advanced, After Opening a Database.

You should tell your domain admins that constant password changing is less secure.
