On booting my Avira reported that KeePass.exe is infected with TR/ATRAPS.Gen.
A quick google on the matter revealed nothing, and Avira is known to be rather ratty.
Oddly enough, I was about to eat, Avira denied access to the file anyways, when I came back from dinner and scanned it, it didn't hook on it and reported it clean.
Is it a false positive or do I have a rogue trojan?

If a file is deemed to be infected and quarantined then it should remain infected. Did Avira report the file as having been cleaned?
Do you have any other files reporting that virus?
cheers, Paul

I'm using the same Avira version with actual signatures and it doesn't complain !
Your machine needs to be checked in deep.
