    Hi,

    starting with the update of KeePass to 2.18 I sometimes notice that the first letter of my auto-type sequence is missing. For example, I press Ctrl+Alt+A to fill in my username and password and the username only reads "ondoe" instead of "jondoe".

    Strangely enough, this doesn´t happen all the time and might work the fifth time I try. I also cannot say for sure if this problem only affects Opera 11.61 as it might be possible that it works again the second time when I use Opera Next or Firefox 9.0.1.

    It might also be a coincidence since I cannot reliably say when I last updated Opera. Still wanted to let you know in case somebody else notices this problem, too.

    Lars

      I experienced the same issue on random basis. Based on some posts I tried adding a “_” to my user name but, because of the random nature of this issue, I still had the same issue.
      I have tried with “escape” key in the auto type sequence and it works like a charm. Here is what my entry looks like:
      Auto-Type:{ESC}{USERNAME}{TAB}{PASSWORD}{ENTER}

      Please post if this resolves the issue.

    We see this on some computers. The fix is usually to add a character and a backspace to the front of the Auto-Type.

    cheers, Paul

    I have seen this in the 1.x version as well. We have yet to find a solution but I think I will try adding the {ESC} option. Clever hack!
