Is it possible to use KeePass the same way like I can use Firefox, so when I open a log in page the password and user name is already added and I just need to click the log in button? Or have I to copy the user name and password each single visit?
Nette Grüße Dirk

I know I've mentioned it before but I use a variety of security measures to ensure that my Keepass and Firefox passwords are kept safe.
I use Truecrypt ( http://www.truecrypt.org/ ) to create a secure "hard drive" and install Firefox AND my Firefox profile to this encrypted drive rather than the C: drive (there is also the possibility of system drive encryption with Truecrypt but you'll have to examine that yourself).
I then keep my Firefox MASTER password in Keepass. When I first need to enter a password for a site that Firefox stores the password I use Keepass autotype to insert the password into the Firefox master password dialog. I then use Firefox with the Securelogin extension ( https://blueimp.net/mozilla/ ).
I split my passwords up between Keepass and Firefox. More important ones I keep in Keepass, bank logins, credit cards, etc. Less important ones - like this forums password - in Firefox.
BTW: I also have Keepass AND it's db installed to the Truecrypt encrypted "hard disk" so NOTHING is accessible or even viewable until I mount the encrypted drive.

It's the same amount of key presses.
When they are stored in firefox you need to click the login button(Or press enter).
Keepass presses enter for you.

No.

cheers, Paul
Edit:
so, if I see right, the using of KeePass is a bit more uncomfortably than e.g. storing the passwords in Firefox
Okay, thank you Paul, for the link also.
Nice greetings, Dirk
Yes, more difficult, but more secure, portable, can be used by more than one person and for more than just a browser.
cheers, Paul
Okay, many thanks for your help, Paul,
Nice greetings, Dirk
