I am trying to get to grips with this feature, which looks very promising.
I did the notepad exercise. It works with cntrl alt a, but cntrl v (and the left mouse option) starts my media player instead! I noticed focus running on my taskbar and stops on the fifth icon from the left, which is media player. A test on a web login does the same, but starts VNC, which is the 6th icon from the left.
I use KP 2.09, W7, IE8
Also, is it possible to launch a web login from KeePass and have auto-type log you in. In other words, double click on the url field of the entry, then KP launch IE, go to the site and have an auto log in?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
You need to have the focus on Notepad and the cursor in the correct location before opening KeePass. Then Ctrl V will cause KeePass to drop to the background and the characters will be typed into Notepad.
Launching the web page and logging in can be done with KeeForm.
cheers, Paul

Thanks Paul. It works like you say, but the mouse action not. But I will stick to cntrl alt a. Much less fuss!
I will search for KeeForm.

Tom
What particular mouse action doesn't work?
cheers, Paul
Right click, perform autotype (cntrl-v)
That mouse action should work the same as the test you ran before. Please test again and tell us exactly how and what happens?
cheers, Paul
