When loading the EXE version of 2.31 from SourceForge, Microsoft Edge claims the signature would be incorrect.
The portable version seems to be ok.
Since I heared that SourceForge bundles malware with installers, is this such a case?

It will be MS being a nuisance.
Check the hash sums from the KeePass site.
