Is it possible to count the daily / weekly number of ctrl-A used, successful ones would be a must?

This is to give an estimate of time saved per day thanks to Keepass.

I can't see a way with KeePass itself as use of hot keys / short cuts isn't recorded in the database.

That is a major change as it would require the database is saved after every access. That is not going to happen.
