Plugins question - works for portable version?

Can Plugins work for Portable version of Keepass?

Do plugins have to be install for each computer? (For example, the Favicon plugin, does the favicons integrate into the .KDBX file itself so the icons can be carried cross platform without needing the plugin to be install at each platform?)

Plug-ins work as long as they are in the plugins folder below KeePass.exe. They are not attached to the database.

To clarify, the icons downloaded by the Favicon plugin are stored in the database, so they can be seen by any installation of KeePass, regardless of whether the plugin is present. The plugin is only necessary to grab new icons off the Internet.
