Let me start with a Thanks - I appreciate Keepass and have been a daily user since 2009 (I've contributed, too!) With the recent hack of LastPass, Keepass is even more important and darn well keeps my data on my computers and portable storage.
So, this issue relates to Keepass version 1.41 (I use the portable version), running on two computers with Windows 10. I first reported the issue way back in 2016 with Keepass 1.31:
At the time, Paul could not replicate it. But it's still happening for me on the latest version of Keepass, and I still find it troubling, or at least unusual. To summarize the issue:
Simply minimize/lock Keepass, and then press Ctrl+F, which opens the Keepass Find dialog box. Granted, no other program yet has the focus, but Keepass is minimized/locked, which should mean that it's out of the loop for keystrokes. This works the same with other command keystrokes, like Ctrl+O, which brings up the Open file dialog box.
Ah, but what about Ctrl+V for Perform Auto-Type? Now that's a command that is supposed to work while Keepass is minimized, so I can Auto-Type info from Keepass into another program. So in that case, the behavior makes sense. But I think not for Ctrl+F, Ctrl+O and probably others. Again, though, if this is not a serious issue, just let me know. Thanks,

Using your ini file I can reproduce the Ctrl O behaviour but not Ctrl F.
Using my ini file - which does not minimize to the tray - Ctrl F and Ctrl O are correctly passed to the underlying application.
If I set "Minimize to tray instead of taskbar", KeePass retains the keystroke focus and Ctrl O brings up the KeePass open file dialog.
I cannot reproduce the Ctrl F behaviour.
cheers, Paul

I still can't reproduce it.
If KeePass is showing but locked, I can use Ctrl O but not Ctrl F.
V1.40.1
Can you post your config file?
cheers, Paul
Sure Paul, my keepass.ini file is attached.
