    Hello,

I noticed something that I think could be improved. I was setting up my new desktop and had to access my google drive, as keepass was not yet installed on this new desktop I had to type over my password using the installed keepass on my personal laptop. So I open the entry of my google account, and I type it over from there. I put my laptop a side and finish setting up my new desktop. So at some point it is lunch time and when I come back to my room and grab my laptop I see to my surprise that the google account entry is still open and visible and my whole database is still open. I think it could have just gone into auto-lock like it is configured to do.
I mean I know I can just close the entry and it will do that, but I think it should also do it when a entry is open. What do you think?

Hi Dominik, I was wondering why my edit dialog ( I think you call it a sub dialog) does not close when I forget to close it although I had the option to close and save after x amount of time selected.
Rather than create a new question I searched and came about this thread. And it seems to pertain to my query.
So I opened your link and read through. And I think it answers my query...However I'm still not happy about this situation although it is explained clearly why it was decided to have it so. I'm not happy because I'd rather be the one to decide what would work best for me.
yes a temporary file saved has its problem. As much as saving unwanted changes or not saving at all. But none of those 4 situations is perfect and certainly do not have the same value for all of us.
So I think the four options should be available for user and for them to decide which one suits them best.
For me I do prefer close and save after a certain time of immobility. This option (or any option perhaps should be chosen with frequent back ups). And although I'm home most of the time I hate to get back to my pc and see my "Edit Entry" still open because I forgot to close it.

Now I feel stupid I didn't read the FAQ, the explanation makes sense. I clearly didn't think this trough.
    Cheers
