Keepass won't start on my Windows 7 machine

When I click on Keepass.exe all I get is a momentary wait circle then nothing. I have a portable installation on a thumb drive and an fully installed version. Same results for both installations. Keepass works fine on other computers.

Is KeePass already running? What does Task Manager say?
Do you have .NET installed? What version?
Are there any errors in Windows Event Viewer under Application?
Does your Anti Virus prevent programs running?
