Synchronize/Recent is always (empty)

Latest version of portable installation: File/Synchronize/Recent Files always shows (empty). Would be a help if that worked, since I sync with another computer on my home net and with the kdbx file in my Google Drive folder, and "Synchronize with file" only remembers the latest synced file location. Anyone have access to a Make-It-Work secret?

The "recent files" list is save in the KeePass config file and how many files to remember is set in Tools > Options > Interface, Remember recently used files, whic is also saved in the config file.
Make sure you have write access to the config file.
