    Hi,

    I have been using keepass 1.x for a long time and I am trying to make the switch for the new 2.10 version.
    I have noticed some strange things during the migration :
    1. With keepass 1.x I was able to inject in the gmail login screen the following auto-type sequence : {CLEARFIELD}{USERNAME}{TAB}{CLEARFIELD}{PASSWORD}{ENTER}
    With keepass 2.10 the following sequence sometimes gives a "invalid password message" : +{HOME}{BACKSPACE}{END}{USERNAME}{TAB}+{HOME}{BACKSPACE}{END}{DELAY 100}{PASSWORD}{ENTER}
    Do you have an idea what's wrong in the new autotype sequence ?

    2. I have set up Keepass 2.10 to show "Show entries that will expire soon to expire " and not to "Show expired entries". As i have imported from a 1.x database, I have got a "Backup" group and, at the startup of keepass, I see the entries that will soon expire and the expired entries from the "Backup" group.
    I would have expect to just see the entries that will soon expire.
    Any idea ?

    Dominik, your software is a wonderful and very useful one, keep going on !

    Cheers.

    1. There are some issues with Auto-Type in .NET and they are usually browser specific - V1 uses a 3rd party sendkeys routine.

    2. The backup group is a hangover from V1 and can/should be deleted. There is a history tab within each entry.

    cheers, Paul

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for your reply.
    2. What can I do if I want to keep my old backup group and not have the remainder ? Do you have an idea ?

    Thanks.

    Nope, can't see a way around that one. You can export the backup group and then delete it.

    cheers, Paul
