Omit entries when printing groups, possible?

    Hello community,

At first, a big thank you to Dominic for all the kind and invaluable work!

Now to the issue at hand. I have a large KeePass DB, split into groups (folders and subfolders), with entries inside them. I would like to be able to use the Group > Data Exchange > Print Group, so I have a hard copy of the entries in the Group trees. The catch is that I want to omit certain entries (which exist only for convenience), so they are not printed. Let me try to "picture" that:

    Group A

    Entry1
    Entry2
    Entry3 (don't print)

    Group B

    Entry1
    Entry2 (don't print)
    Entry3

    Group BA

    Entry1
    Entry2 (don't print)

    .
    .

    Group Z

    Entry1
    Entry2 (don't print)

    Group ZA

    Entry1

    Group ZB

    Entry1 (don't print)

I looked around if there is a way to omit some entries from the Print Group, but I had no luck. Is there such an option? Or maybe a special String field name that I can put on each entry that I don't want to be printed?

I could create a new KeePass DB, copy over the Group trees, delete the entries I don't want to be printed and voila! The real pain is the total number of groups I need to go through to find/erase these entries and also that I need to do that from time to time (because the entries change frequently). That's why I am trying to find another way to solve this. Any ideas?

You could assign a tag 'NoPrint' to each entry that you do not want to print (by right-clicking onto the entry → 'Edit Entry (Quick)' → 'Add Tag'). After creating a copy of the database file and opening it, let KeePass show all entries that have the tag 'NoPrint' and delete them at once before printing.

    Best regards,
    Dominik
