I have installed some plugins already, namely VariousImport. But I haven't been able to import my data so far. The problem is that instead of having my data in any of those programs the plugins are for, I simply keep it in my Google Contacts (In the big right window I keep my username, passw, and used email address for registration.
I already exported those contacts to vCard, and CSV file formats. But KeePass cannot import'em in
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance,

    JDL

Try the generic CSV importer of KeePass 2.x.

    Best regards

PS: KeePass 2.19 will have a completely rewritten generic CSV importer. If you want, you can test it here:

I get this error when using the Generic CSV importer:

" An error occurred while importing the file. File cannot be imported.
    Entry: #17 "

    What could I do next?

The error message that you posted comes from KeePass 1.x. KeePass 1.x doesn't have a generic CSV importer, just one specialized for the 1.x CSV format.

So, either try KeePass 2.x (preferably the new build in the thread I linked above) or try to customize your CSV file such that it gets imported by KeePass 1.x (there appears to be an error in line 17; a detailed description of the required CSV format can be found in the KeePass help, page 'Import / Export').

    Best regards

    Thank you so much Dominik!
I've got the newest version now, what a difference!
Haven't got the time to get into the process of importing my data yet. But I did have a quick peek and I can tell there are way more chances now for this to work than before ;)

    Have a good one!
