Does anybody how to make the EditEntry window smaller in the Linux Keepass? - if it's even possible?
If not, please can we request it as a feature.

Oh dear (:-(( KEEPASS windows sizes problem has come back
=since having to rebuild Lubuntu 20 = Keepass windows (login +main window +especially entry view) =too big in Lubuntu 20
(ok in windows 10).
As you will see from my thread in May2020, I solved the problem eventually but don't know how!
Anybody got any ideas?
-resolution =ok, other apps windows sizes =ok.

Do you have a backup of the old setup, specifically ~/.config/KeePass/KeePass.config.xml?
If so you could restore it to your new setup and see if that helps.
cheers, Paul

Yay! FIXED (:-).
I've found the culprit (in Linux Lubuntu 20. Windows 10 fine already) =Keepass Options>INterface>force system to use system font =needs UNticking.

Interesting - it's much more common that people request making the window bigger, so they can see more of their information at once - so much so that Dominik made the KeeResize plugin for them; however, this plugin only works on Windows, anyway.
Is your problem that the window text is too large to fit comfortably on your screen, or that it's showing too much empty space? Also, what flavor of Linux are you running, and which window manager? (I'm not exactly a Linux expert, but these are the kind of questions that the Linux experts would ask at this point; I'm just trying to save them some time.)

(Sorry TBug (Paul??), I replied email - but hopefully this just went to bin without bothering you).
...because it takes up far too much screen
so needs KP starting window to be within quite small space-range = approx vertical middle 1/3 of whole screen (desktop PC), to stop EditEntry window going partly off-scrn.

Could we see a screenshot? You can create a temporary empty database just for the screenshot so you don't reveal any of your real data, and then post the screenshot here as an attachment.

Attached = screen shots of whole desktop
= big window in linux Lubuntu 20.04 (+was same in Lubuntu 19.10 (and previous?)
not-big same window in Windows 10.
Note: screen res = same in both Lub + win10 =recommeded option =1368x768.
Thanks for pursuing this... I'd be interested in the fix / work-around +it'd stop being such a nuisance from wht is otherwise a most splendid prog!
1) Yo! T.Bug reporter: (:-) My edit-entry window has suddenly gone smaller like I want!
All thx to me??? -except I don't know what I've done to fix it!
Or thank you magic TBr??? - unless I've updated KP recently after you fixed bug??? my kp =ver 2.44.
2) Mind u, now I've to another gremlin: URL toolbar button does not offer my default browser Chromium? And when I click on this button to visit url, I get error msg which seems to be saying "....cannot find etc/chromium-browser..." (my paraphrasing) - which I guess is because chromium is a snapd install (only option).
Wondering if keepassXC from snap will solve problem...
***Any ideas?? - re 1) +2)
1) Update: I've solved how visit url in Lubuntu via Chrome (+ without extension!) = yes, Install keepassQC (frmo snap) +Just dbl click on KPQC entry URL!
2) Just hoping now to find out how to obfuscate auto-entry (as in keepass via edit-entry tick-box)....(+ How to shrink main window below quite big)

I want to make the editentry window smaller (not bigger) - in Linux Lubuntu 20.04. It's fine in Windows 10.
Yes, I got that; I'm just trying to understand why you want it smaller.
