      Grazie

      Hello Paul,
I wanted to know if with KeePass it is possible to have an online database to open both on the pendrive and on the cell.
In practice, if I change the DB on the pendrive I must remember to copy it to the cell to have the same entries.
      Thank you

    Fatto.
Tramite guide su internet sono riuscito ad attivare il database che avevo sulla pendrive. e capire come funziona, un pò arzigogolato ma funziona.
    Grazie

    Done.
Through guides on the internet I was able to activate the database I had on my pendrive. and understand how it works, a bit convoluted but functional.
    Thanks

Don't forget to make a backup of the database to a local disk. Pendrives are not the most reliable and cloud providers do go offline sometimes.

Oops, just realised you have asked a new question that has not been answered.

KeePass and KeePass2Android have a "sync" feature that updates the database with changes made externally.

You can keep a copy of the database in the cloud and one on the pendrive.
Open the pendrive directly in KeePass and use "sync" to the cloud copy.
Open the cloud copy in KeePass2Android. It keeps a local copy automatically.

You still need a regular local backup.

    cheers, Paul

    Purtroppo ho"paura" del cloud.
    È l'unica soluzione?

Unfortunately I am "afraid" of the cloud.
    It is the only solution?

If you use a strong password you can safely put your database in the open - it will not be breakable anytime in the next century.

If you want to keep it local you can use KeePass2Android and keep the file on your phone.
To sync, email the phone database to your PC, sync the file with KeePass and email it back.

    cheers, Paul

Premise: I have been using Keepass on PC for many years. The files it generates are in * .KDBX format. On the PC I'm used to copying, transferring, deleting, modifying (etc.) with extreme simplicity.

I bought a Chromebook (Asus) and installed KeePass2Android, but I didn't quite understand some things:

    1) When I store a database on an internal folder on the Chromebook, a message similar to this appears: "0000000CAFE2019% 3A_Cartella_01% 2F (invalid)". What does it mean, especially "INVALID"?

    2) To delete a * .KDBX database, I go to the Chromebook folder and delete it. However, when I activate KeePass2Android, the message similar to this appears. "Database present in cache". So the database hasn't been completely deleted?

    Definitely:

How can I be 100% sure that the database (and the eventual key-file, stored for safety on an external pendrive) is not yet present in the cache?
