not working on most of the pages

i jsut started to use keepass but i find difficult to work with some webpages, pages like https://sourceforge.net or https://elysium-project.org, when i press thortcut key the entry key selection pop up but no information shows, what i am doing wrong ? and sometimes then is working is puting the password first in the username field

What popup are you referring to? The Auto-Type Entry Selection dialog indicates that there are multiple matches in the database. Otherwise there are no pop-ups unless you have a plugin installed e.g. AutoTypeSearch.

That can occur if the user did not placed the cursor in the username field before executing auto-type, or if the default auto-type keystroke sequence is not suitable. You can modify the keystroke sequence for the entry on the entry's Auto-Type tab. If you need assistance post the URL of the problematic website.

yes that is true on some page there are more then one user, but The Auto-Type Entry Selection is empty, for some reason if i put in title elysium-project.org is not picking up only if i put elysium, and that apply for all pages, there is any way to recognize after the webpage only ?

An empty Auto-Type Entry Selection dialog could occur if the values of the fields in the entries that are displayed are empty (I should think this is unusual). If that is not the problem, please post a screenshot of the empty Auto-Type Entry Selection dialog.

That is because elysium-project.org is not part of the Window Title (the Window title of elysium-project.org is Elysium Project — Vanilla 1.12.1 Legacy Server). KeePass global auto-type only finds a match in the database if an entry's title (or target window title of a custom auto-type sequence) is contained in the Window Title (e.g. browser tab title). KeePass does not look for URL matches in the browser's address bar.

ok ..so ..i manage to import my opera passwords, and is working fine, everithing is with full title (long or short) including icons ..etc ..and is working well, now the problem is how i make a entry so i dont have problems in the future ? there is any way to auto add entry that take the proper title with the webpage ? or somehow when i add the webpage to pick the title automatically ?

• To display the title in a browser mouse over the tab. The title will be displayed after a moment.
• To display the full title including the browser suffix opening a KeePass entry, select the auto-type tab and press the Add button. Display the list of active Window Titles from the Target Window field
  
  

Also you may post the URL to the browser tab title using a browser URL in Title extension or match URLs directly using the WebAutoType plugin.

thank you all for information, single thing that i did not find was a pluging for opera, unfortunately what @wellread1 mention about url in title extension is for opera 12, but i will try and see mabye i can make it work with a extension from google chrome

Chrome extensions work just fine in the latest Opera browsers. When I was still using Opera I used chromeipass and whatever Chrome extension put the page title in the window title.

WebAutoType works in Opera.
