Using version 2.41 on Windows 10 Pro
Create a link to a database called Start.kdbx.
Move the link to C:\ or another folder and rename the link to match the database.
Using the file properties tool, create a path to the link such as:
C:\KeePass.exe "C:\Start.kdbx"
Click on KeePass to open and you get the following error:
C:\Start.kdbx
The specified file could not be found.
Now, Click OK and go to File->Open->Open File. Navigate to C: and select Start.kdbx.
The link is properly resolved and the Database opens to the point where it is asking for the Password. All works!
Please allow the command line argument to properly handle a link.
Thanks!

Does that command line work if you drop it in the Windows run box (Win R )?
