Linux keepass cannot cope with emoji's in notes
A lightweight and easy-to-use password manager

Create a secure note on Android (Keepass2Android 1.08d-r5). The note only contains an emoji. Transfer the database to Linux (Ubuntu 20.04.2, keepass2 2.44+dfsg-1). Open the database, Linux keepass dies with the attached backtrace.
I can get the same effect by importing a csv with a single entry containing an emoji.
CSV to import into Linux keepass.

This is a bug in Mono. You can follow it here:

This entertained me today. Database is automatically saved when modified. Every time it is opened keepass misbehaves. Took a while to realise it is the column display in the main window that causes my particular problem.
A work around is to disable the offending column, restart keepass, and delete the (invisible) emoji in the offending password entry.
Might be nice to filter emoji on linux until this bug is resolved. Especially now that they are allowed in SSIDs. Just a thought.
