A few days ago I've found a bug in KeePass. It's window does not react to any kind of input, I can't even move it/close it/make it active with the window header, but if I start autotype with the global key combination then the window pops up and works correctly with which you can choose which entry to fill in. This indicates that the process is not frozen, and that too that if I try to click a lot in the main window, Windows does not ask me to wait or close the program, as it would do with windows whose process has frozen.
The more concerning part that lead me to report this is that it also fails to lock the database automatically on locking the Windows user account or hibernating. I did not change the settings, so that should work.
It's been this way for a few days already and I won't restart it for now so I may be able to give you details to find the source of the problem.

It may be relevant that KeePass posted this notification in the Windows Action Center shortly after resuming from hibernation yestarday. As far as I can tell the main KeePass window has been frozen for the past couple of days, but it could mean something.

I use a few plugins, yes, but I don't think plugins should prevent KeePass from automatically locking the database. Anyways, here are the plugins that I use: KeeTheme, PickCharsDeferred, and ReadablePassphrase. I use the .plgx version of these.

You probably noticed that it's not the latest KeePass version. Well I thought I've updated it to 2.45, I even have the installer downloaded, but the file description of the main exe says it's 2.44, so maybe I forgot to install it? What I'm sure about is that I don't have more than 1 installation of KeePass, and that I never used the portable version. That may or may not be part of the problem, it really could just be my mistake that I forgot to update it, but I don't remember.
Anyways, I thought it might be better if I report this bug, because it might be hardly reproducible, but still in the program.

I haven't found any log files for KeePass (in AppData/Local and /Roaming), and submitting a memory dump does not seem to be the best idea in the case of a password manager, but if you know how could I help to diagnose the problem then please give me the deatils. Please don't be afraid to ask more technical questions, I feel comfortable with answering them
I've included a screenshot of the main window, this is how it looks like now

What? I've changed the milestone to 2.x... how can I edit it to fix it?

Oh and forgot to mention: if I set the window to be enabled (with an advanced task manager) then I can now move it, use the buttons in the window header (minimize, maximize, close) and the toolbar buttons will get a border on mouse hover, but nothing else

Why are you so insistent on not restarting? There's no telling what kind of strangeness has accumulated in your system since your last restart, and no developer is going to waste time working on Problem 2 (whatever it may be) until he can be confident that it wasn't caused by Problem 1. I'm sure Dominik is reading all your posts, but is unwilling to get involved until you can demonstrate that you're not having bigger problems on your system - problems that he can't do anything to solve.
