I recently installed Amazon Kindle PC, which (undocumtedly) uses Ctrl+Alt+K as its hotkey in its .lnk file. This breaks Ctrl+Alt+K for KeePass.

Even after unconfiguring the hotkey in Kindle PC's .lnk file KeePass is not reacting correctly. Interestingly, it is no longer possible to set Ctrl+Alt+K in KeePass's Options dialog. It is possible to set the .lnk hotkey to Ctrl+Alt+K, but this setting does not work the same way as via KeePass's Options dialog.

Setting a hotkey in Options of (say) Ctrl+Alt+P works.

Other applications can reserve hot keys. In such a case, KeePass cannot register it. However, as you found out already, you can specify a different hot key in the KeePass options.

Hi, you can also change the shortcut for the Kindle app. Try this: https://superuser.com/a/1320852/656110 .. after changing the shortcut, KeePass needs to be restarted to register its shortcut again. Worked for me.
