Linux mint 17 64bit
When i minimize keepass2 to system tray then it shows at tray a black icon and it doesnt do anything (right or left click). You must go to main menu and open from there the application again if you want to see the main window etc...
This will be another mono bug.
Have you tried the Ubuntu Integration plug-ins.

This plugin is for Unity. I am using mint. Is the plugin affecting all ubuntu DE variants?
Thank you.
I don't know. My test box is Ubuntu 14.10 and it's OK without the plug-in.
cheers, Paul

Here is the better link: https://github.com/dlech/Keebuntu#keebuntu
John, yes it is compatible with Cinnamon (and other) desktops. You probably want the one that says: "New (in beta)! Tray Icon". Check out the link for more info.

That plugin is only available in the beta ppa, so you need to run
If you have any further questions, suggestions, problems, etc. there is an issue tracker at https://github.com/dlech/Keebuntu/issues
This solved the problem and until now its working ok.
How to close the thread as solved?
Thank you.
