On Ubuntu 12.10 and 14.04, If you launch keepass with an "English Uk international with dead keys" keyboard layout you can not type any "@" symbol in password prompt text field.
If you switch to normal "English UK" layout while keepass is running, it does not change.
But if you switch to normal "English UK" layout, then launch keepass, it works again.

This will be a mono bug, not KeePass.

    cheers, Paul

I've verified that KeePass correctly runs 'xdotool key U0040' in order to send the '@' symbol. If this command doesn't result in an '@' being typed on your system, it's a bug in Xdotool, not KeePass.

Xdotool issues can be reported here:

    Thanks and best regards,
    Dominik

the xdotools works fine with both layouts.
