* Fix: Hyperboloid preview in the viewport did not match the rendered object in most cases - it was just bad luck that the default parameters for a Hyperboloid worked. On a side note, Hyperboloid is a remarkably useful primitive, once you start playing with it and get past the default "cooling tower" appearance - I can tell I'll be using it a lot in the future. * Added k3d_square_ridges displacement shader * Consolidated experimental NURBS plugin code in the owning module. A note on this - historically I had an incredibly bad idea to re-use the implementation of the Mesh object in more than one place. As a result we have the actual Mesh object in the core module, which is just a shell, and the k3dMesh and related implementation classes in K3DSDK. This split got copied into the NURBS code. Unfortunately, it seems to be a law of programming somewhere that new developers will take your most embarassing mistakes and multiply 'em like rabbits, so ... I'll be doing some similar consolidation with k3dMesh. Cheers, Tim |
