Hello, I apologize for the duplicate post. I've recently discovered k3b, but I can't seem to get it to recognize my CD as a writer. I have a Cyberdrive CW038D running on a system with RH9, and version of k3b is 0.9pre1 (it didn't work with the previous version either). I've made sure that SCSI emulation is enabled, that the appropriate parameter is being passed to the kernel at startup (hdc=ide-scsi), and I can verify that it is available by noting three ide/scsi-related modules: ide-scsi, scsi_mod, and ide-cd using lsmod. After I set up the disk session and select the "Burn..." option by right-clicking in the cd track list (lower left area of the window), I get the dialog, but no CD writer is listed. This being the case, I can't burn the CD. I've burned CDs with this drive using cdrecord, so I'm not sure why this isn't working. Any help would be appreciated. : ) Regards, Tom. |
