When I compile only the .py files, I do not get any error and I am able to invoke the classes properly: /cygdrive/c/jython-2.1/jythonc.bat -b test.jar *.py However, when I compile with -deep flag, get the 'not a statement' error. Thanks in advance. -Kats /cygdrive/c/jython-2.1/jythonc.bat --deep --core -b test.jar *.py [processing output omiited...] 1 .\jpywork\xml\dom\html\HTMLElement.java:225: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(2)).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("removeAttributeNode", frame.getlocal(2)) : t$0$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\reader\__init__.java:175: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(1)).__nonzero__() ? frame.getglobal("ReleaseNode").__call__(frame.getlocal(1)) : t$0$PyOb ject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\FtNode.java:544: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(3)).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(6).invoke("_4dom_setReadOnly", frame.getlocal(3)) : t$ 0$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:479: not a statement (t$2$PyObject = frame.getlocal(3)._isnot(frame.getlocal(2))).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("visit", frame .getlocal(3)) : t$2$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:535: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(0).__getattr__("_html").__not__()).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("visitProlog" ) : t$0$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:536: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("doctype")).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("visitDocumentType", frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("doctype")) : t$0$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:554: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(6).__not__()).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("_tryIndent") : t$0$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:599: not a statement (t$4$PyObject = ((t$5$PyObject = frame.getlocal(0).__getattr__("_inText")).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(6) : t $5$PyObject).__not__()).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("_tryIndent") : t$4$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:688: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("publicId")).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("_write", s$56._mod( frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("publicId"))) : t$0$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:689: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("systemId")).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("_write", s$51._mod( frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("systemId"))) : t$0$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:690: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("notationName")).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("_write", s$57._ mod(frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("notationName"))) : t$0$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:703: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("publicId")).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("_write", s$56._mod( frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("publicId"))) : t$0$PyObject; ^ .\jpywork\xml\dom\ext\Printer.java:704: not a statement (t$0$PyObject = frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("systemId")).__nonzero__() ? frame.getlocal(0).invoke("_write", s$51._mod( frame.getlocal(1).__getattr__("systemId"))) : t$0$PyObject; ^ 13 errors ERROR DURING JAVA COMPILATION...
