Category: Core Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Matt Boersma (mboersma) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: array.array('xx') should throw TypeError, not ValueError Initial Comment: test_array.py from CPython 2.3 includes a test case that expects array.array('xx') to throw a TypeError (the parameter should be a single char). Jython 2.2rc3 throws a ValueError in this case instead. Attached is a one-line patch that fixes this specific case. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: keshav upadhyaya (ukeshav) Date: 2007-09-10 13:29 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1833960 Originator: NO Patch looks fine please commit it and close the bug.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=112867&aid=1767742&group_id=12867 |
