[Jython-dev] Jython and Python 2.2: What are the plans?

Hello jython-dev people,

I would like to find a link or some other source of information where I
can monitor Jython's progress towards CPython 2.2 compatibility.  I have
not been able to find any information about this at Jython.org, or during
my cursory explorations of the subject lines in the message archives.

I do not even know if there is a specfic plan for accomplishing this, but
I have to believe that the ultimate intention of the project is to be
'close' to CPython.

I hope I have chosen the right venue for my question.
