Per your web-site request, this is just a mesasge about what I'm doing with
Jython...

Simply put, I need a run-time editable script language which allows for
definition of simple boolean expressions (which will be stored in a
database), the output of which will be used to drive GUI components in a
Java based HMI...

I'm looking at Jython for fitness in this application.  

Thoughts or comments or concerns welcome!
