Hello, We had some troubles with different versions of apache xerxes, since IBM ships his own version. Removing xerxes.jar from /jre/lib/ext of the IBM jdk solved these problems. My advice: take care in the XML area. But this was 2 -3 Months ago .... Best wishes, Oti. > -----Original Message----- > From: Kevin Altis [mailto:al...@se...] > Sent: Saturday, May 12, 2001 8:29 PM > To: jyt...@li... > Subject: [Jython-dev] Jython and IBM 1.3 JDK > > > The platform specific notes page > http://jython.org/platform.html doesn't > mention the IBM JDK 1.3 for Windows as a recommended platform > for Windows > NT, 95, and 98, Windows 2000. Is there an issue with the IBM JDK (link > below) that causes problems with Jython? The IBM JDK is much faster (3x - 4x > on the other > Java apps I'm running) than the Sun 1.3 HotSpot implementation. > > IBM Developer Kit for Windows(R), Release 1.3.0 > http://www7b.boulder.ibm.com/wsdd/wspvtdevkit-info.html > > ka > --- > Kevin Altis > al...@se... > > > _______________________________________________ > Jython-dev mailing list > Jyt...@li... > http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jython-dev > |
