[Jython-dev] Jython and IBM 1.3 JDK

The platform specific notes page http://jython.org/platform.html doesn't
mention the IBM JDK 1.3 for Windows as a recommended platform for Windows
NT, 95, and 98, Windows 2000. Is there an issue with the IBM JDK (link
below) that causes problems with Jython? I modified the jython.bat and
jythonc.bat files to use the IBM JDK which on the simple tests I've done so
far seems to work fine. The IBM JDK is much faster (3x - 4x on the other
Java apps I'm running) than the Sun 1.3 HotSpot implementation.
