[Jython-dev] Jython Swing Applets (Java 1.2 or above) without the plugin

Has anyone been able to create deployable Jython Swing
Applets using Java 1.2 or higher, without using the
Java plugin?

We have a situation where it IS ok to download
swingall.jar, etc. occasionally, but requiring the
plugin installation is problematic.
