Hi, I've written a free, online, multi-player computer game in Java. It uses embedded Jython to produce most of the content. About 20% of the game classes are written in Jython, so it's got about 200 Jython classes so far, with the number growing almost daily. The URL is: http://www.cabochon.com. The game lets anyone who's interested come in and write Jython code to create their own in-game objects, monsters, spells, areas and so on. The game exposes its platform APIs in the form of javadocs on the website; you can access all the game APIs from Jython. Players can even get access to their own runtime Jython interpreter and make calls into the game while it's running. If I could get listed in your "Who uses Jython?" section, it might be of interest to people who are interested in doing Jython-based game development. Thanks, Steve Yegge st...@ca... |
