As David explained, there's a somewhat reasonable explanation for this switching the behavior of a Java object. In short, I would only turn off respectJavaAccessibility to explore the internals of a class. Since it can change the externally documented behavior of a class, it makes it difficult to actually use Java code as the Java code is expecting to be used. Charlie |
