Hi, Please check the following commands and their output (run on linux). --------------------- $ java -cp /usr/share/jython22/jython.jar -Dpython.home=/usr/share/jython22 org.python.util.jython Jython 2.2a1 on java1.4.2_06 (JIT: null) Type "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> $ java -cp /usr/share/jython22/jython.jar: -Dpython.home=/usr/share/jython22 org.python.util.jython Jython 2.2a1 on java1.4.2_06 (JIT: null) error importing site Traceback (innermost last): File "/usr/share/jython22/Lib/site.py", line 66, in ? AttributeError: java package 'sys' has no attribute 'modules' $ java -cp /usr/share/jython22/jython.jar:xyz -Dpython.home=/usr/share/jython22 org.python.util.jython Jython 2.2a1 on java1.4.2_06 (JIT: null) Type "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> ----------------------------- The only difference in 3 iterations is in the value passed to "-cp" option. 1) /usr/share/jython22/jython.jar 2) /usr/share/jython22/jython.jar: 3) /usr/share/jython22/jython.jar:xyz The problem comes in (2) where classpath is terminated with ":". Doesn't this look weird? Thanks, Raghu. |
