I think that this is a very good suggestion. I am almost certainly going to pull in the PyXML libraries into subversion when I get to the packaging step, and doing the same for the Python libraries (as PyPy does) makes sense. I may wait to actually do this until we get going on 2.3 in earnest, if only because I think a 2.2 beta and then release is more important than almost anything else I can do (the one exception being the support of new developers (which is why I created the 2.3 branch -- I wouldn't have done it for myself yet). -Frank |
