[Jython-users] John Duimovich and Eclipse introduction

I had another phone call today with Paul Buck and John Duimovich about
Eclipse and Jython/Python. John Duimovich is the lead for the Eclipse Tools
Project Management Committee (PMC). I'll let John give a more in depth
introduction of how the Eclipse project is organized and his role, but there
is some info here:

John said that he would join the jython-users mailing list to facilitate
getting a Jython/Python Eclipse sub-project going. I'll post a separate
message about who has already expressed interest in working on Eclipse
integration.

If you will be attending OSCON in July, please email me directly and I'll
summarize for the list. OSCON will be a good time to have an in person
discussion about Eclipse and Python.
