I had a look at the PythonMock, at first view, it seems 'missing' a lot of things in comparison with the Java version (expectation, Verify method) etc... It was for that, I have imagined to use the java implementation in using jython as glue. Questions 1) Do you thing using java implementation with Jython as glue will be a good solution ? 2) Implement the 'missing' functionalities in PythonMock ? Subject: RE: [Jython-users] Unit testing - Using Java Mock Objects in Python with jython ? You may want to investigate Dave Kirby's "PythonMock" (do a google search) for a more pythonic take on mock objects. It works very well for jython based testing Chris > -----Original Message----- > From: jyt...@li... > [mailto:jyt...@li...]On Behalf Of Quinet, > Joel > Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2002 9:22 AM > To: jyt...@li... > Subject: [Jython-users] Unit testing - Using Java Mock > Objects in Python > with jython ? > > > Hi, > > Has anybody already tried to re-use or port the Java implementation > of Mock ojects (available on www.mockobjects.com) to Python? > > Is it possible to combine the Java Mock objects with Python > using Jython? > > It would be great to have available the Java Mock classes > available to > be used from Python. > > Thanks > Joel > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This sf.net email is sponsored by: Are you worried about > your web server security?
