I'm having a problem exporting private use area glyphs to pdf. They are showing up the pdf as maybe bitmaps (I'm not sure of the correct terminology). They don't look crisp and they are lowered on the line compared to other glyphs. As mentioned, this happens only with glyphs from the private use area.
I'm exporting from MS Word 2016 with the Bullzip print driver installed (the same issue happens with no driver installed).

Update: I exported to pdf, this time with Adobe Acrobat DC installed, and of course, the PUA glyphs were displayed correctly in the pdf. So the problem was Bullzip. Mystery solved!
