#92 Breaks on Vista?

Running on Vista Enterprise RTM, first or second time, it breaks on boot unless properties changed to run in XP compatibility mode. Then, after refreshing feeds and getting a good list of downloads, the downloads don't work. Check the attached log, it contains references to broken code .

I submitted a patch numbered 1727094 (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1727094&group_id=151000&atid=779483) to fix this problem.
