#2 WKB Reader and Writer

Are there any plans to add WellKnownBinary Reader and
Writer beside WKT ones in future development roadmap?
If I have data in database and want to do spatial
operations, data exchange in WKT should be slower than
in WKB, should not?

There is project WKB4J, see
"http://wkb4j.sourceforge.net/index.html", which do
this and some more, so it can be start point.
