Hi, I'm a computer engineering student working on my final project which was to be a drone/quadcopter (from the small toys to "bigger" things like the amazon quadcopters or similar) simulator. After looking for a few days into the JSBSim documentation and in several forums I'm not so confident in the viability of this project so I would like to know whether JSBSim looks like a FDM that can be used in a project focused mainly on small-ish aircrafts, with no fuel lines (as far as I understand this seems to be a problem) and with electrical engines which would be the only way to control them (no flaps or anything like that). What I'm looking for is the opinion of people with some experience with JSBSim on whether this seems doable and, if it is, a push in the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance |
